Center Step Card

Today im going to share how to make this card i made for a friend.


Thing you will need.

  • Any colour card stock for base. which measures 11" x  5 1/2" 
  • Bone Scorer (4914)
  • Tool - Retractable knife (2938)
  • Double Sided Adhesive (1708)
  • Scissors - 4.8cm Blade (4654)
  • Pencil (3026)
  • Ruler - Metal (1922)
  • Stamps
  • Ink
  • Additional card stock, pattern papers and embellishments for decoration. 

Step by Step

  1. Measure 1inch down from top and 1 inch from side mark with pencil, then again at 6 1/2". do this to both sides like in the picture on the right.
  2. Using your metal ruler and retractable knife cut from the 1" to the 6 1/2" do this to both sides. Now you have a center part and 2 side panels.
  3. Score on the side panels at 1", 2" and 6 1/2" (like in the picture). also score on the center at 5 1/2 (like in the picture).
  4. Fold at the score lines. The first, third and center score lines are mountain folds. The second score line is a valley fold. Reinforce score lines to make folds crisp.
  5. Now you are ready to stamp and decorate your card as desired.


Variations

Change it up.
Vary the width of the center panel or the two side panels by adjusting the width of the card that you start with.
